He was, for 6 years, Group Security Manager and then Personnel and Health and Safety Manager to a large West Midlands Engineering Group. He is also a Founder Member of the Council of the Institute of Security Management.

The company operates full 24 hour supervision from its manned control centre which complies with all the requirements of BS7499, for Alarm/CCTV, Monitoring, Keyholding and Alarm Response and BS5979:1993 for Alarm Receiving Centres.
