It can be almost guaranteed that if your alarms activate and the police or emergency services require access to your business premises, it will be at the most inconvenient of times. Changes in Police response provision have meant that the pre-requisite requirements for keyholding services have changed in recent years.  The client is expected to have two persons who are able to attend site within twenty minutes to meet the police, in all weathers, 365 days a year.

GRB Security Limited operates a twenty-four hour permanently manned Alarm Receiving Centre located at our offices in Walsall.  We operate our keyholding service within a ten mile radius of Walsall town centre.  Arrangements can be made for premises outside of this catchments area however we will not be able to provide on site response within twenty minutes.  Our liveried fleet is equipped with two way radio and driven by fully trained employees.

Upon receipt of an alarm signal or notification of any emergency, a patrol vehicle is despatched to the premises.  If an activation turns out to be “false” or no cause can be identified, the mobile officer will liaise with the police and alarm company and will ensure the premises are re-secured.  The attending security officer will file an incident report which the client will be notified of as dictated by the urgency of the incident.

In the event of police response to an alarmed premises being withdrawn, we offer a service whereby GRB attend in place of the police or as an escort to your nominated keyholder.  This situation is becoming increasingly common as police policy continually places more companies off response.
